- Why are you in LAH VYO, Inc.: When I first found interest in the group, I was excited. I joined because I needed volunteer hours, I loved lion dancing and some of my friends were joining. However, as time went on, I discovered more meaning to the group. Everyone worked and communicated as a family. The organization has dedication to help kids and the community and I find it truly amazing to have some perseverance and feel so passionate about this kind of volunteer work. I stayed and continued work with Lend a Hand because of the same feelings and passion towards helping and making a change in someone’s life. I plan to stay in Lend a Hand as long as I can.
- How long have you been in LAH VYO, Inc.: I’ve been in LAH VYO, Inc since 2004, my freshman year of high school (4 years).
- Awards & Achievements: Numerous Piano Trophies and National Achievement (Plaques for Sonatina and Bach). District Champions Junior Varsity (Sharpstown High School). 3 gold medals at Dallas Kung Fu Competition. Company of the year (Junior Achievement; Institute of Chinese Culture). 1st place Sceme Mouse trap car(DeBakey High School). HOSA Bowl team 5th place Regionals. 3 trophies at Car Shows.
