9. Why are you in LAH VYO, Inc.: I’ve been in LAH ever since day one. I became a LAH member because I love giving back to the community, and thought to myself, “what better way to give back to the community, while I can give back to my own people at the same time.” My mom constantly reminds me to remember those back in Vietnam and constantly preaches that I am very lucky and reluctant to be living in the United States. My mom always shows me devastating and shocking pictures from Vietnam of poor children walking the streets with no shoes, cloth, or family. I feel as if it was my duty to make sure that i can do the best I can to provide MY people in Vietnam with the things that they can’t even imagine possible.
