  9. Why are you in LAH VYO, Inc.: Initially I joined Lend a Hand because I always wanted to learn how to lion dance. But the longer I stayed in the group, the more I realized that there is so much more to this youth organization than meets the eye. It is more than just a bunch of kids walking around in flashy lion dance pants. What makes it more is the passion, hard work, and dedication every single member of Lend a Hand pours into such a worthy cause. I am truly amazed at all of our members’ eagerness to help and the sincerity and goodness of their hearts. I am in Lend a Hand because I have so much fun volunteering with these people who have become like my cousins and siblings. Even more so, however, I am in Lend a Hand because I want to help people. Being able to make someone smile or knowing that you helped change/save a life is one of the best feelings in the world, and I love being able to do that.
